 Ingredients: 

 

  1. Melon Seeds Roasted : 2-3 cups 
  2. Ghee : 2 tsp 
  3.  Cardamom Powder : 1 tsp 
  4. Sugar- ½ cup 
  5. Water - 1 cup 

 

Process: 

 

  1.  Grind the melon seeds into a fine powder and then sieve it to remove any chunks. 
  2. Fry the Melon powder properly in ghee and add cardamom powder to it and mix well.
  3. Prepare sugar syrup by simmering sugar and water together. 
  4. Add sugar syrup in the melon seeds mixture and mix well. 
  5. Grease a pan well, add the ready mixture to it and set a thin layer. Garnish with Almonds. 
  6. Once chilled, cut the cake in quadrilateral shapes and enjoy the Barfi.
